Climate change has altered the requirements for garden maintenance. Garden lovers like us know the problem only too well: prolonged periods of heat in summer, too little rainfall, parched soil and rising temperatures in winter all leave their mark.
At the same time, different plants have individual requirements and make a needs-based water supply essential. Watering can become a laborious task, as it is not only extremely time-consuming, but also not done with pinpoint accuracy. It also results in high water consumption.
However, even with timer-controlled underfloor or sprinkler systems, the actual water requirement is not checked. In winter, the fact that these hose systems have to be switched off for frost protection reasons makes things even more difficult.
The key to success is year-round, water-saving, and demand-regulated irrigation.
